The date of her birth is March 29th, 1985 in Roswell, New Mexico. Gerina is the full name of her. Gerina Stevenson was born in Mexico as the daughter of Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. She is American and has Mexican-American heritage. From a young age, her desire to be active in sports was strong. Gerina started playing golf at the age of fifteen. Gerina completed her High School studies at Goddard High School. She was the winner of New Mexico's state golf championship. Also, she played volleyball at the state level. 2003, she began studying at the University of Texas. In her senior year she took home the top prize in every competition which she participated in. During undergraduate studies, she earned the titles that included Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the Year.
