Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actress known for her leading roles in numerous television series as well as her powerhouse performance in films. Her work is well-known on both Canadian and American Television. At the age of Emily was 12 she became attracted to acting when she visited her elder sister Katie on the set of one of her film. Emily began attending classes in acting and auditions after realizing that she was passionate about acting. She started out with a couple of ads, and was soon cast in Are You Are You Afraid of The Dark, a Canadian horror show for kids. In one scene, she was not even speaking any words. She got her first big break at the age of 15 when she was cast as a regular character on the WB program Glory Days. Emily's performance caught the eye of Dawson's Creek's Greg Berlanti, who then invited her to his TV show Everwood. A ballet dancer as well as photographer, Emily was once listed in Teen to be one of their most popular actresses under the age of 20. The Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed her at number 51.
