Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born August 9, 1976, at Beaumont Puy of Domme. Audrey Tautou's parents, who have a doctor for teeth as well as a teacher at school were supportive and encouraged by her passion for acting as well as theatre. The initial goal of her to become a master monkey was replaced by a desire to study theater and drama. At the age of a young lady the rise to fame was rapid and marked with the beginning of her recognition and success. After her graduation in 1998, she participated in a French talent-scouting TV programme Jeunes Premiers that was supported by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors prior to beginning the journey to become an actor. Tautou was educated at Institut Catholique de Paris, went to church when she was a child and was educated Catholic. She is now separating herself from the Catholic tradition. Alongside her acting career, Tautou pursued modelling and was the face for L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. A keen photographer, she has recently exhibited during The Arles International Festival entitled Superficial. In her photographs, she concentrates on fame and fame. Cameras are focused at journalists, who sat and watched her during her rise to stardom in Amelie. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and fame with her starring part in the film Le Fabuleux d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie was a global success in the field of box office, and won awards around the globe. Amelie was the highest-rated French-language film in the US. The film's success has led to Tautou being cast in a range of roles, ranging from British dramas such as Dirty Pretty Things by Stephen Knight and Jean Pierre Jeunet to Hollywood's The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
