Zazie O. Beetz was conceived in Berlin on November 21, 1991. Her father was an German Cabinet Maker who came to live into the United States following the fall of Berlin Wall. She graduated from at the same school that was attended by Jennifer Aniston. After completing her studies at LaGuardia, Beetz went on to pursue a degree in French at Skidmore College. Following graduation from Skidmore College Beetz was able to immediately begin auditioning for roles and was eventually offered in the role of Van in Atlanta. Beetz, who was born in Berlin and grew up with German-American parents and an African American mother who lived in New York, spoke both German as well as English in her home. In community theaters as well as local stage shows since her early childhood, Zazie found her joy when she was in the middle school years and began growing to become an actor. Zendaya achieved her Disney Channel breakout role thanks to Zendaya's impressive dance abilities. It was in 2010 that the actor and dancer had her first role of note, when Bella Thorne cast her as Rocky Blue. Zendaya became a vegetarian at age 11 when she came across a slaughterhouse during the road along with her father. PEOPLE claims that Zendaya stated, "I found it horrifying to look at all the animals being packed inside, awaiting to die." That's not the way I would eat my food! She has since stayed on an all-vegan diet.
