The babies were at the crib, as I was strapped in with an infant to my back. Ha! It was beginning to be clear, but wasn't quite finished. The house would need an enormous amount of work and an enthusiasm to shop. To keep within my budget I took my sons along with me as I searched for hidden treasures at estate sales. The schedule we had for the week which consisted of spending the week from the week of Thursday to Saturday scouring estate sales and garage sales shopping for new and used things. I spent the rest of the week sanding and painting the driveway. My love for furniture repair started with an appearance like this. I continued to work on furniture even after we had furnished our house. I had a stand in the market at my local location and also sold items there. Then I bought more that I could decide what to do with and outgrew the space. My home became a place in which I held open houses where up to 1000 visitors could see the items on the first floor, and then purchase them. Growing Days was created in this home.
