Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961, in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now OnestiGheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now Onesti] Romania). She was the first gymnast to score a perfect 10 on an Olympic celebration. Comaneci was spotted by Bela Karolyi who was later her Romanian gymnastics instructor when she was six years old. She first competed at the championships for juniors from Romania in 1969 she placed 13th. And in 1970, the Romanian gymnast won. In her very first international event in 1972 she took the top spot having won three golds. In her first international competition as a senior athlete in the year 1975, she beat the Russian Lyudmila Turishcheva, a five-time European champion winning four gold medals as well as one silver. The first female to do a reverse double salo on the bar with a parallel surface when she won the American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She began her career in the entertainment industry during her teenage years in which she was a part of a figure skating duo with her sister Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was born on September 6 1942 in Chicago Illinois US. Carol was a part of the world of entertainment during her teenage years. In her early years she was a figure skater in traveling shows Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. Ice Capades was a show that featured ice-skating with actors.
